A Question:

Because it is now summer and I have more free time, I was thinking of possibly making some posts/masterposts addressing common mistakes people make or just talking about useful things to know when writing Star Wars. Would anyone be interested in that? If so, what kinds of things would you like to see?

This blog is amazing!!! Do you think this information and having seen the movies ( not the TV show or read any of the novels) I could pass off as an accurately informed writer in the SW world?

Thank you so much! And yes, I think you don’t need to meet any sort of requirement as to the amount of canon you’ve watched or read in order to write something accurate and informed. Don’t feel that you have to know everything about the universe in order to have fun writing about it (that’s what I’m here for)! The movies have plenty of material to work off of, and if you need anything else feel free to send me an ask.

There are too many languages in Trek for me to even make a funny header out of them, hah.

My name is Garak, and I’ve been inspired by a lot of writing advice blogs lately, so! I have decided to open a Star Trek-specific writing resource blog. I’ve seen nearly the entire series, have a near-encylopedic knowledge of thirty out of fifty years of Trek, and am currently attempting to learn Klingon (as well as Romulan, if I can find some resources). Do you need to know just how fast the Enterprise can actually go? The difference between each incarnation of the Enterprise? What about the difference between all 4 Andorian genders?

If you have any questions, the ask box is open! This blog will be almost entirely ask-driven, unless specific masterposts are requested or deemed necessary.

ghel yIDoH!
