writebetterstarwars:

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know I’ve set up a Ko-fi for this account. The link is also in my bio. It’s 100% optional and I’m never going to restrict any of the content on here, but if you’ve ever got a few bucks to spare I would really appreciate it! (Uni applications are coming up faster than anticipated :/)

Thanks for your consideration!

Hey! I’m sorry to do this, but I’m a bit strapped this month for health care costs and bus fares. Once again, no pressure, but if you’ve got a couple extra dollars it would really help me out. Thank you!

Random Planet Generator

Hey guys! Recently I’ve gotten a few asks wondering about canonical planets with little or no background, ones that could be used for anything, or planets with a very specific placement and history. I usually suggest that it might be best to create a new one, but I know firsthand how easy it is to get stuck on even the most basic aspects of worldbuilding. Hence, this!

This is a random generator that will create for you the basis of an original planet: a name, a region of space, prominent surface features, possible imports and exports, rotation period, gravitational pull, and atmosphere type. You can pick out the information you want, mix it up as needed and go from there. As always, any suggestions are welcome. I hope you guys get some use out of this!

(P.S. All of the names created by the generator are completely random, and occasionally it will spit out a real word or the name of a canonical planet. Check to make sure the name isn’t already taken!)

Just a heads up, it’s exam break for me so my answers are going to be sporadic for a bit. I have two exams tomorrow and then a couple left next week; the asks in my inbox will be answered tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!

Inbox Stuff!

Really sorry I haven’t been able to answer asks today, guys. Semester ends next week so I’ve got a whole ton of tests coming up. All the asks will be dealt with tomorrow, and if you have a question please send it in over the next five days, because I will be closing the inbox from Monday to Wednesday next week. Thanks for your patience!
