What would be a good ship for a crew of 5-7 smugglers (captain, co-pilot, and 3-5 droids)? I’m sort of looking for something that relies on its armor and weapons more than speed, too, if any such ship exists.

One option could be something like the Dynamic-class freighter. It is designed for two pilots and up to six passengers, and is meant to accept modifications easily, so you can change the shielding, engines and weapons as needed. The stock model is not terribly fast and is only moderately armoured, but it’s known to be a sturdy and reliable ship, and you can make modifications to improve that armour. Its flexibility is its main advantage over the classic Corellian freighters, and if you’re set on a slower ship it may be a better choice (although the Corellian freighters could be made slower if you rerouted enough power from the engines to the shields or weapons).

You could also go with the YT-2400, which is quite a fast ship but still has a strong hull and good shielding, and the available power and hull space to add on powerful weapons. It takes a crew of three (minimum of one) and six passengers, and has a cargo capacity over twice that of the Dynamic-class freighter. Any other Corellian freighter will be pretty similar, especially within the YT-series, so if you wanted an older model like the YT-1300 or even the YT-1000 that would work too. Another Corellian freighter, the YV-929, is very weapon-oriented, but much more expensive. If cost isn’t a problem, this one may be a good choice.

I hope one of those works out!

Is there a link to the various different in universe gambling games with descriptions of each somewhere? I’m looking for the one that’s closest to Blackjack, and I think that’s Pazaak but I dunno for sure!

I don’t know of a list of gambling games, but here’s a bunch of games in general. There are subcategories of arcade games, card games, dice games, etc. in there as well. And pazaak is indeed the in-universe equivalent of blackjack.

Hope that helps!

Are there any records of planets and/or collections of planets (e.g. the Corellian sector) having flags to represent themselves? Or was it more common to just have a symbol or crest of some kind, like the Imperial Cog?

Hey, sorry for the wait! I got very busy very suddenly with my IB exams (which are thankfully over now). There are a few planets known to have their own flags or other symbols (the planet Hok has a flag, for example, and Pantora has an emblem), but it’s much more common for factions (like the Republic, the Alliance, Black Sun, the Pyke Syndicate, House Organa etc.) to have them. Most planets don’t have an official symbol of any sort, and I can’t recall any systems or sectors that do, however many have certain certain objects or symbols tied to them, like the Mandalorian jaig eyes.

I hope that helps!

Is there any information of consequences about people with prosthetic members, specifically like Anakin in the beginning of ROTS, in directly contact with water? Thanks for your time.

I can’t recall whether this is specifically addressed for Anakin, but a cybernetic limb should not be affected by contact with water under normal circumstances (while the mechanisms are intact, the circuitry and wiring aren’t exposed, etc.). Otherwise, people with cybernetics would always have to worry about going out in the rain or spilling a glass of water on themselves. If damaged, however, the limb may fail like any other electrical device.

Hope that helps!

Do you know of any planets that might have giant, dinosaur-sized megafauna?

Numerous planets have one or more species of animal (native or immigrated) that can get very big, but I don’t know of any where that’s a defining characteristic of the lifeforms there. Like Earth, most planets have megafauna as well as smaller species, and many have ones that are dinosaur-sized (although I suppose it depends on which dinosaur…)

One of the best examples might be Tatooine, with a number of massive species such as banthas, dewbacks, rontos, sarlaccs, rancors (rare on Tatooine) and krayt dragons. You will also find large animals on pretty much any jungle world; Dagobah has giant swamp slugs and dragonsnakes, Endor has gorax and boar-wolves, Yavin 4 has runyips. Also worth noting would be Bespin, home to absolutely huge animals such as the beldon (which can grow up to 10km in diameter) and the velker, and Naboo, with giant aquatic animals as well as mammals such as falumpasets and fambaas. Basically, you’re likely to find something big on just about any planet.

I hope one of those works!

What is the difference of missions between Naval TIE pilots and Military TIE pilots? And also, if you can, is there a certain branch that ISB Agents control or does it differ on the mission assigned to them? [Bless you if you can answer these and have a great week!]

I believe you mean navy pilots and army pilots? All starfighters in the Empire were considered part of the Starfighter Corps, which operated under the Imperial Navy, and so every TIE fighter is a Navy vessel. However, some TIEs were assigned to ground operations; these pilots reported to an Imperial Army garrison commander, and were technically a division of the Army. Their job was to fly support during battles on the ground. For example, during the Battle of Scarif in Rogue One you can see several different kinds of Imperial starfighters engaged in dogfights near the surface of Scarif. They were stationed on the planet, and served to aid the soldiers and AT-ACTs on the ground. Regular Navy pilots operated in space and did all the things we see in the films, basically.

ISB did not control any particular branch of the military, but they appeared to have a lot of power within it. High-ranking agents seemed to be able to commandeer pretty much anything, from stormtrooper squads to Star Destroyers. Agents were sometimes attached to a fleet, and sometimes they worked alongside Naval intelligence and operated under the command of the Navy. How ISB fit into the military hierarchy is pretty ambiguous, but it’s clear they essentially had authority wherever they went, in both the Army and Navy.

I hope that helps!

Are there any examples of falconry (or a similar practice involving a different falcon-like animal) existing in Star Wars? If not, what would be a good alien animal to sub in for a falcon?

Twirrling was a sport practiced by nobles in the galaxy, originating on Naboo, that is based on falconry. Usually, the participant would ride a gualama and send the twirrl, taking the place of a falcon, to catch small prey. I suppose there’s no reason other birds of prey couldn’t be used, such as the spire falcon, native to Coruscant, but their trainability is mostly unknown.

Hope that helps!

Can you dream up/ think of any scientific or technological development that you wish was in the SW universe? Could be live action or animated, doesn’t matter. Sometimes I wish they had better adapted medical tech cause space is terrifying and I worry 😂

I always find myself wishing that the HoloNet worked more like the modern-day internet. It does bother me that it seems to be either uncommon or difficult to do stuff akin to visiting a website or looking something up on Google. It would be a difficult part of canon to change now, since it started before the internet really worked that way, but it feels weird to have to work around it!

Would a lightsaber bayonet be possible/viable (given that the gun it’s attached to is made of lightsaber-resistant materials)?

Normally you would have a knife or a vibroblade attached to the barrel of the rifle, but there’s no reason you couldn’t replace that with a laser knife. (You couldn’t have a lightsaber—it would be much too long—but a short plasma weapon would be fine.) However, I don’t expect it would be necessary for the rifle to be made of a lightsaber-resistant material as the blade should never touch the barrel, especially because that technology tends to be very expensive.

Hope that helps!
